Description

Taste the flavor of Strawberry Lassi, a traditional Indian drink made with yogurt, milk, and strawberries (serves 2).


Ingredients

  • 2 cups of yogurt - 250 g Greek yogurt, dahi, or other
  • 3/4 cup cold milk - 200 ml
  • 10 frozen or fresh strawberries
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 pinches ground cardamom
  • 1 tbp sugar - optional, or use maple syrup or honey

Instructions

  1. Place all the ingredients in your blender, including, plain yogurt, milk, frozen strawberries, vanilla extract, optional sugar, and ground cardamom.
  2. Blend on high speed until you achieve a creamy, smooth drink without any chunks.
  3. Pour into 2 glasses, garnish with strawberries, and enjoy with a straw.

Notes

  • Fresh or Frozen: Use ripe strawberries for the best flavor; frozen ones make the drink colder.
  • Sweetness: Adjust with sugar, honey, or maple syrup as needed.
  • Spice It Up: Add a pinch of cardamom, cinnamon, or rose water for extra flavor.
