Add the active dry yeast to the warm milk and add the ground cardamom. Stir with a spoon and let stand for 10 minutes.
Mix all the ingredients together in the bowl of your stand mixer with the dough hook until you have a smooth ball. Then let the dough rise for 2 hours at room temperature.

Fold the dough in 3 and roll it out again to enlarge it. Cut into strips along the width. Twist the strips on itself and form a knot. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let rise 1 hour.
