Description

Recipe to make a chocolate chip mug cake for 1 standard mug, soft and cookie-style, cooked in the microwave.


Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Place the dry ingredients in the mug (flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt) and mix well with a tablespoon.
  2. Add the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract and stir until smooth.
  3. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  4. Microwave on high power for 1 minute to 1 minute 30 seconds max, until just set.
  5. Let cool slightly, then enjoy with vanilla ice cream if desired.

Notes

Storage: Best eaten immediately. Do not store or reheat.
