Description
Smooth and versatile, this chocolate ganache is perfect for filling and decorating a 6 inch cake or 12 cupcakes with a rich, glossy finish.
Ingredients
- 240 g (8,5 oz) chopped chocolate - dark or semi-sweet
 - 240 g (1 cup - 8 oz) Heavy cream or whipped cream at least 30 % fat room temperature
 
Instructions
- Chop finely the chocolate with a large knife and place it in a large bowl.
 - In a small saucepan bring the cream to a gentle boil.
 - Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate.
 - Stir with a wooden spoon or spatula until the chocolate has completely melted.
 - Cover with cling film and place in the fridge until cool.
 
Notes
Storage: 1 week in the refrigerator and up to 3 months in the freezer.
