Ingredients

  • 250 ml (1 cup) milk
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • A pinch of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, pour the milk and add the turmeric, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, black pepper, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  2. Gently heat over medium heat, stirring to dissolve the spices, without bringing it to a boil.
  3. Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.
  4. Strain the mixture for a smooth texture, if needed.
  5. Serve in a glass filled with ice cubes.

Notes
