Description
How to make a delicious iced pumpkin spice latte at home as good as at Starbucks Coffee but healthier and less sweet (for a large glass)
Ingredients
- 1 Espresso - strong 60 ml
- 3 tbsp. Pumpkin puree
- 2 tsp. Maple syrup - or honey
- 1/2 tsp. Ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch of Ground ginger
- 1 pinch of Ground nutmeg
- 1 pinch of Ground cloves
- 1 tsp. Liquid vanilla
- 250 ml (1 cup) almond milk
- Ice cubes
Whipped cream
- 100 ml (1/2 cup) heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp powdered sugar
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the pumpkin purée with the pumpkin pie spices, vanilla extract and maple syrup.
- Add the black coffee and mix again, mixing if necessary to obtain a smooth texture.
- Leave to cool completely in the fridge.
- Fill a tall glass with ice cubes and add the spiced pumpkin puree mixture.
- Add the cold milk and stir with a spoon or straw.
- Using an electric mixer, whip the cold, full-fat heavy cream with the powdered sugar until smooth.
- Pour the whipped cream over the top of the latte, sprinkle with ground cinnamon and enjoy iced.
Notes
Storage: Pumpkin puree mix can be stored up to 4 days in the fridge in a jar with a lid, or in a small bottle.
