Description

How to make a delicious iced pumpkin spice latte at home as good as at Starbucks Coffee but healthier and less sweet (for a large glass)

Ingredients

  • 1 Espresso - strong
  • 3 tbsp. Pumpkin puree
  • 2 tsp. Maple syrup - or honey
  • 1/2 tsp. Ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of Ground ginger
  • 1 pinch of Ground nutmeg
  • 1 pinch of Ground cloves
  • 1 tsp. Liquid vanilla
  • 250 ml (1 cup) almond milk
  • Ice cubes

Whipped cream

  • 100 ml (1/2 cup) heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the pumpkin purée with the pumpkin pie spices, vanilla extract and maple syrup.
  2. Add the black coffee and mix again, mixing if necessary to obtain a smooth texture.
  3. Leave to cool completely in the fridge.
  4. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes and add the spiced pumpkin puree mixture.
  5. Add the cold milk and stir with a spoon or straw.
  6. Using an electric mixer, whip the cold, full-fat heavy cream with the powdered sugar until smooth.
  7. Pour the whipped cream over the top of the latte, sprinkle with ground cinnamon and enjoy iced.
