My buttermilk chocolate cake is ultra tender and soft, with a moist, rich chocolate texture.
The whipped ganache is very easy to make, has a silky-smooth texture and is perfect for both the inside and outside of the cake.
Each layer of choclate cake is filled with whipped ganache, with an extra layer of fresh strawberries in the center.
The chocolate cake is then completely covered with the whipped ganache and placed in the fridge to cool until ready to decorate.
Finish decorating the top of the cake with a piping bag, then place a few sliced strawberries on top.
Cut the chocolate strawberry cake into slices and serve with a strawberry or chocolate coulis.
