VANILLA 

SPONGE CAKE

INGREDIENTS 

Eggs

Butter

Flour

Sugar

Step 1: Cream butter and sugar with an electric hand mixer.

Step 2: Add eggs and vanilla and beat again for 5 minutes. 

Step 3: Gently add the flour and a pinch of salt and fold in with a spatula.

Step 4: Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes. 

Step 5: Leave to cool slightly before unmoulding and cool completely on a wire rack. 

Enjoy! Use your sponge cake to make delicious layer cakes filled with fresh fruit.
