Description
Apple banana smoothie recipe for 1 large glass or two small servings.
Ingredients
- 1 Banana - medium ripe and frozen
- 1 Apple - fresh
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) milk - or vegetable drink
- 1/2 cup Yogurt - or Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup Nuts - walnuts, almonds, etc.
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 pinch ground cinnamon - optional
Instructions
- Place all the ingredients in the bowl of the blender, including the banana slices, chopped apple, milk, yogurt, nuts and vanilla extract.
- Blend on high speed for 1-2 minutes until smooth and homogenous.
- Serve in 1 large or 2 small glasses and enjoy!
Notes
Storage: eat up quickly or store in the fridge for 1 day.
- You can replace the milk with more yogurt or, conversely, replace the yogurt with milk only.
- No sugar is needed, but you can add a bit like honey or maple syrup.
