Description

Apple banana smoothie recipe for 1 large glass or two small servings.


Ingredients

  • 1 Banana - medium ripe and frozen
  • 1 Apple - fresh 
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) milk - or vegetable drink
  • 1/2 cup Yogurt - or Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup Nuts - walnuts, almonds, etc.
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon - optional

Instructions

  1. Place all the ingredients in the bowl of the blender, including the banana slices, chopped apple, milk, yogurt, nuts and vanilla extract.
  2. Blend on high speed for 1-2 minutes until smooth and homogenous.
  3. Serve in 1 large or 2 small glasses and enjoy!

Storage: eat up quickly or store in the fridge for 1 day.

  • You can replace the milk with more yogurt or, conversely, replace the yogurt with milk only.
  • No sugar is needed, but you can add a bit like honey or maple syrup.
