- Milk: the kind you like to drink, dairy milk o non-dairy milk, like me, unsweetened almond milk, soy milk, coconut milk, oat milk, etc.
- Yogurt: plain sugar-free yogurt or Greek yogurt.
- Nuts: Optionally, a small handful of nuts such as walnuts, almonds, and hazelnuts, which you can replace with rolled oats, or seeds such as chia or flax seeds, hemp seeds.
- Vanilla: Pure vanilla extract is optional, but essential for flavoring the smoothie.
- Cinnamon: As an option, ground cinnamon to flavor the drink or a mixture of pumpkin pie spice or gingerbread spice mix.

Apple banana smoothie recipe for 1 large glass or two small servings.
Ingredients
- 1 Banana - medium ripe and frozen
- 1 Apple - fresh
- ½ cup (125 ml) milk - or vegetable drink
- ½ cup Yogurt - or Greek yogurt
- ¼ cup Nuts - walnuts, almonds, etc.
- ½ tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 pinch ground cinnamon - optional
Instructions
- Place all the ingredients in the bowl of the blender, including the banana slices, chopped apple, milk, yogurt, nuts and vanilla extract.
- Blend on high speed for 1-2 minutes until smooth and homogenous.
- Serve in 1 large or 2 small glasses and enjoy!
