Chocolate chip brownies

Description

Easy recipe of chocolate chip brownies super fudgy and chocolatey (for 8 inch / 20 cm square pan about 9-12 servings)


Ingredients

  • 120 g Butter (unsalted)
  • 120 g Chocolate (Chopped chocolate)
  • 2 Eggs (at room temperature)
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 100 g Sugar (granulated sugar)
  • 90 g Flour (all-purpose)
  • 30 g Cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  • 1/2 tsp Salt (sea salt)
  • 100 g Chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F / 175°C and line a 8 inch / 20 cm square pan with parchment paper.
  2. Place the butter and chopped chocolate cut into pieces in a bowl and melt in a double boiler or in microwave.
  3. Meanwhile, in a bowl, beat the eggs, sugar and vanilla together with an electric mixer about 2-3 minutes).
  4. Then add the melted chocolate mixture and mix again with the whisk.
  5. Then add the dry ingredients, flour, cocoa powder and salt gently with a spatula and finish by adding the chocolate chips.
  6. Mix to obtain a homogeneous preparation.
  7. Pour the mixture into your baking pan and bake for about 20-25 minutes.
    After 20 minutes, check by inserting a toothpick in the center and it should come out with a few traces. It will still soft when you take it out of the oven and will firm up as it cools.

Notes

  • Line the pan with parchment paper to prevent the brownies from sticking and for perfect unmolding.
  • Use room temperature ingredients.
  • Do not over mix the mixture after adding the dry ingredients.
  • Be careful not to overcook your brownies or they will be too dry in the mouth (dip the tip of a knife or toothpick into the center and it should come out clean with a few cake crumbs).
  • Let your brownies cool completely before unmolding and cutting them.
