Description
Chocolate Fudge is a delicious tender chocolate candy, easy and very quick to prepare. (for a 8 inch / 20 cm x 20 cm square pan about 24 pieces)
Ingredients
- 350 g (12 oz) Baking Chocolate chips - semi-sweet or Bittersweet
- 397 g (14 oz)Condensed milk - sweetened - 1 can
- 1 tbsp Butter - unsalted and softened - about 20 g
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Prepare an 8-inch / 20 x 20 cm square cake pan by covering it with parchment paper.
- Place all the ingredients in a saucepan or in a microwave-safe bowl; chopped semi-sweet chocolate, sweetened condensed milk, softened butter, vanilla extract, and sea salt.
- On low heat, let the preparation melt completely while stirring from time to time with a spatula.
- Immediately pour the preparation into the prepared pan.
- Cover with plastic wrap and let cool completely in the refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours.
- When the chocolate fudge has completely cooled, remove it from the cake pan.
- Using a ruler and a large knife, cut small squares of fudge.
- Sprinkle fleur de sel on top or chopped nuts and enjoy.
Notes
Conservation: several days at room temperature in a conservation box with a lid and up to 3 months in the freezer.
