Description

Ingredients

  • 8 slices of brioche
  • 200 ml (¾ cup) milk 
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 20 g (1 ½ tbsp) butter 

Instructions

  1. In a shallow dish, whisk together the milk, eggs, and sugar until well combined.
  2. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat until melted, but not smoking.
  3. Dip each slice of brioche into the egg mixture, letting it soak for a few seconds on each side.
  4. Place the soaked brioche in the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
  5. Remove the brioche from the skillet and place it on a paper towel to absorb any excess butter.
  6. Serve your French toast warm with your favorite toppings like syrup, fruit, or whipped cream. Enjoy!

Notes

Storage: Store leftover French toast in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat in a skillet or toaster for best texture.
