Description

Iced mocha latte with strong espresso coffee, homemade chocolate syrup, milk, ice cubes and whipped cream topping (for one large glass or 2 small ones)

Ingredients

  • 1 espresso coffee - approx. 60 ml
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp. maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla - optional
  • 125 ml (1 cup) milk
  • Ice cubes
  • Whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Prepare your espresso coffee, filter coffee or instant soluble coffee and leave to cool slightly.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the unsweetened cocoa powder with the maple syrup and vanilla extract, then add about 1-2 tablespoons of coffee or water to wet the preparation and have a mixture like a chocolate sauce.
  3. Put ice cubes in a tall glass and pour in your coffee.
  4. Add the chocolate sauce, then the milk and stir with a spoon or straw to make a smooth mixture.
  5. Finish by adding your whipped topping and decorate with a drizzle of melted chocolate, chocolate syrup or cocoa powder.
  6. Enjoy cold.

Notes

Storage: Drink immediately or store in the fridge.

  • Replace the chocolate syrup with 1 square of 70-80% dark chocolate, to be melted directly into the hot coffee.
