Description

Delicious homemade healthy pumpkin spice latte recipe with homemade pumpkin puree, hot spices, espresso coffee and almond milk (for 1 cup)


Ingredients

  • 1 Espresso - strong
  • 3 tbsp. Pumpkin puree
  • 2 tsp. Maple syrup - or honey
  • 1/2 tsp. Ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Ground ginger
  • 1 pinch Ground nutmeg
  • 1 pinch Ground cloves
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
  • 250 ml (1 cup) Almond milk 

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree with the spices, vanilla and maple syrup.
  2. Add the espresso and mix again and blend if necessary to get a smooth texture.
  3. Heat the milk in a saucepan and blend with an electric frother.
  4. Pour the squash and spice mixture into a cup.
  5. Add the hot milk and mix with a tablespoon.
  6. Pour whipped cream over the top of the pumpkin spice latte and sprinkle with the ground cinnamon and enjoy hot.
