Description
Indulge in a delightful Tiramisu-style latte made with a strong double espresso, milk, and sweet vanilla mascarpone cream (for 1 glass).
Ingredients
- Double espresso - strong, about 60 ml
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) milk
- 2 tbsp (40 g) Mascarpone cheese - cold
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) Heavy cream - full-fat and cold
- 1 tbsp. Powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp. Vanilla extract
- Unsweetened cocoa powder
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whip the cold mascarpone cheese with the col heavy cream, powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and thick.
- Heat the milk in a saucepan until simmering, or in the microwave.
- Prepare a double espresso with your coffee machine or with ground coffee.
- Pour the hot milk into a large glass and add the double espresso.
- Finish with the mascarpone foam and sprinkle over unsweetened cocoa powder.
- Enjoy hot.
Notes
Storage: Best enjoyed quickly.
Frozen or iced version: Place all the cold ingredients and a handful of ice cubes in a blender and blend until you have an iced drink, or serve in a tall glass with ice cubes.
