Description

Indulge in a delightful Tiramisu-style latte made with a strong double espresso, milk, and sweet vanilla mascarpone cream (for 1 glass).


Ingredients

  • Double espresso - strong, about 60 ml
  • 125 ml (1/2 cup) milk
  • 2 tbsp (40 g) Mascarpone cheese - cold
  • 60 ml (1/4 cup) Heavy cream - full-fat and cold
  • 1 tbsp. Powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. Vanilla extract
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whip the cold mascarpone cheese with the col heavy cream, powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and thick.
  2. Heat the milk in a saucepan until simmering, or in the microwave.
  3. Prepare a double espresso with your coffee machine or with ground coffee.
  4. Pour the hot milk into a large glass and add the double espresso.
  5. Finish with the mascarpone foam and sprinkle over unsweetened cocoa powder.
  6. Enjoy hot.

Notes

Storage: Best enjoyed quickly.

Frozen or iced version: Place all the cold ingredients and a handful of ice cubes in a blender and blend until you have an iced drink, or serve in a tall glass with ice cubes.
