White Chocolate brownies

Description

White chocolate blondies with a rich and fudgy texture (for a 8 inches / 20 cm square baking pan - 16 parts) 


Ingredients

  • 170 g (3/4 cup) Butter - unsalted and melted
  • 100 g (1/2 cup) Sugar - granulated 
  • 50 g (1/4 cup) Brown sugar
  • 2 Eggs - room temperature
  • 250 g (2 cups) Flour - all-purpose
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 150 g (1 cup) White chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F / 180°C and line a 8 inches / 20 cm square pan with parchment paper.
  2. Place the unsalted butter in a large bowl with the granulated sugar and brown sugar and mix with an electric mixer for a good minute until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract and beat again to incorporate.
  4. Finish with the dry ingredients, flour, baking powder and salt and mix this time with a spatula to incorporate them.
  5. Add the white chocolate chips and mix again to incorporate them.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake the blondies for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and slightly soft in the center.
  7. Check for baking by sticking a toothpick in the center and it should come out crumbly or clean.
  8. Let the blondies cool completely in the pan, then cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge for 1 hour.
  9. Carefully unmold the blondies and cut into 16 equal pieces with a large knife.
  10. Enjoy.
