Easy rustic strawberry galette: a crisp tart shell filled with luscious almond cream & fresh strawberries. A simple, delightful dessert for any occasion!

In a medium bowl, mix the dry ingredients and cold butter until a sandy mixture forms.

Add the egg and mix until the dough forms a homogeneous ball. Leave to rest in the fridge under plastic wrap.

In a medium bowl, mix the softened butter, sugar, almond meal and egg until creamy.

Roll out the dough on a floured work surface and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Top the center with the almond cream and place the strawberry slices on top.

Close the edges over the strawberries, sprinkle with cane sugar and bake at 350°F for 30-40 minutes.

Cool completely and serve with a scoop of ice cream and crushed pistachios.
