- 1 pie dough - Cream cheese - Sugar (white & brown sugar) - Eggs - Heavy Cream - Flour or cornstach - Spices (cinnamon & pumpkin spices) - Vanilla extract - Salt
Prepare the pie dough according to our instructions in the recipe, or use a store-bought pie dough recipe. Roll out the dough and place in a pie dish, pricking the bottom with a fork.
Place the cream cheese with the granulated sugar and brown sugar and mix with an electric mixer until smooth.
Add the eggs, vanilla and heavy cream mix again to incorporate.
Add the flour, salt and spices and mix gently to incorporate.
Pour the cinnamon filling into the pie pan over the pie shell and bake at 350°F/180°C for 45 minutes until golden brown.
Allow the cinnamon pie to cool completely before serving with a dollop of whipped cream.
1 Pie crust: To prevent the crust from shrinking, it's recommended to chill the dough for a few minutes before baking. 2 Room Temperature Eggs: When mixing eggs into the filling, make sure they are at room temperature. 3 Baking: The center should have a slight jiggle when removed from the oven, as it will continue to cook slightly as it cools. 4 Cooling: After baking, let the pie cool completely at room temperature before serving or refrigerating. The flavors will further develop, making it even better the next day.
