Heat the milk in a saucepan, in the microwave or using the steam nozzle on your espresso machine. If necessary, froth the milk with a milk frother or milk steamer for a creamier drink. Pour milk first into a tall glass.
Prepare a double espresso or your usual coffee and pour it into the glass containing the milk.
Whisk the cold mascarpone with the heavy cream, powdered sugar and vanilla, then add to your drink. Add a little cocoa powder on top.
