Place the black tea bags, spices, sugar, vanilla and water in a saucepan. Cook over low heat and leave to infuse for 10 minutes off the heat. Then strain through a fine sieve to collect the tea and spices.

Step 2: Warm milk

Heat the milk in a saucepan or in the microwave and pour it first into a cup.

 Step 3: add chai mixture

Pour the chai mixture into the milk.

Step 4 : Cream topping

Whip the cold heavy cream with a milk frother until thick.

Step 5 : Enjoy

Pour the cream topping over the top of the chai latte, add a pinch of cinnamon to decorate and enjoy hot.
