Step 1: Chai mixture

In a saucepan, combine the black tea bags with the chai spices, maple syrup, vanilla extract and water and leave to infuse for 10 minutes without boiling.

 Step 2: Pumpkin mixture

Add the homemade pumpkin purée and pumpkin pie spice and stir to blend.

Step 3: Add milk

Finish with your milk and stir to obtain a smooth, warm mixture.

Step 4: Make the latte

Pour the hot mixture into a large mug.

Step 5: Whipped cream

In a small bowl, use a hand milk frother to blend the cold heavy cream until thick and pour over the pumpkin chai latte.

1. Use quality ingredients, seasonal pumpkin or frozen pumpkin for extra flavor, a good milk of your choice neutral in taste, and a well-balanced blend of spices. 2.
