Why line the pan?
To unmould it perfectly! But also quickly!

How to line a round cake pan with parchment paper
Cut out the parchment paper
1 - Cut out the circle for the bottom of the pan and to make it as simple as possible use the cake pan directly as a pattern and cut out the round with a sugar paste knife. Do this on a cutting board so as not to damage your work surface.
2 - For the strip of paper for the edges of the pan, you can measure the necessary amount in length and height directly on your cake pan and cut the strip of baking paper with scissors.
Attach the parchment paper to the pan
1 - This is an optional step, but you can spray the inside of the pan with nonstick spray so that the baking paper adheres well to the surface of the pan and stays in place.
2 - Place your disk and the strip of parchment paper inside the cake pan. Press with your fingers so that they stick to the sides of the pan.
This step can be a little annoying in the long run, so be organized by cutting several disks and strips of parchment paper ahead of time 😉.
