- 100 ml (⅓ cup) water - or apple juice
- 1 tbsp lemon juice - optional
- 1 tsp cinnamon ground
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
Instructions
- Start by removing the skin from the apples, remove the center and seeds and cut into small pieces.
- Put the apples chunks, water, vanilla extract and cinnamon ground in a medium saucepan.
- Cook for 10 minutes if you want to leave some chunks and 20 minutes for a smooth consistency. Mix with a wooden spoon throughout the cooking process.
- Remove from the heat and let the mixture cool a little.
